The only CS:GO Crosshair Guide you'll ever need
This articles goal is to provide you with a detailed guide on how to modify your crosshair so you'll be able to find the crosshair that fits your preferences perfectly!
CS:GO Crosshair Guide
If you've ever played a shooter, you'll know about the importance of crosshairs in these games. Especially in the highly competitive environment of CS:GO, where everything is about min-maxing and optimizing even the tiniest aspects of the game, crosshairs play a very important role. So here is a detailed guide to help you find the perfect crosshair:
How to change your crosshair
First of all you need to know how to modify your crosshair. Basically there are two options to do that:
The old fashioned way is to use your developer console and therefore change it with console commands, that will be listed in this article. You can also use the "Crosshair" tab in your ingame options.
If you click on "share or import crosshair code" you can also share your crosshair quickly or copy someones crosshair effortlessly. These codes look like this:
CSGO-tKTvN-5pCry-GRM3p-XoLDN-5tbJD
If you are already playing and you spot a crosshair that you really like, you can also copy it directly via the scoreboard.
Crosshair Styles
If you want to build your own crosshair it's time to choose the style. These are your options:
cl_crosshairstyle 0 - Default Dynamic
cl_crosshairstyle 1 - Default Static
cl_crosshairstyle 2 - Dynamic
cl_crosshairstyle 3 - Dynamic
cl_crosshairstyle 4 - Classic Static
cl_crosshairstyle 5 - Hybrid
The most common options among pro players and competitive players are style 4 and 5, since the other options can be quite distracting because of the amount of movement on your screen.
Crosshairsize and Thickness
